Frequently Asked Questions
Clear, honest medical answers on IVF procedures, egg freezing, timelines, and financial packages.
How many visits are required for a complete self-cycle IVF program?
A standard antagonist IVF cycle requires 4 to 5 short ultrasound monitoring visits over 10–12 days of subcutaneous ovarian stimulation, followed by a 2-hour day-care egg retrieval (OPU) procedure. Embryo transfer can take place either in the same cycle (fresh) or in the subsequent cycle (frozen embryo transfer - FET) for optimal endometrial preparation.
Is IVF or ICSI painful?
The egg retrieval procedure is performed under light intravenous sedation administered by an experienced anesthetist, making it completely painless. The daily stimulation injections use ultra-fine micro-needles (similar to diabetic insulin pens) and cause minimal discomfort. Most patients resume work the next day.
What is your clinical pregnancy success rate?
At ILC Fertility, our cumulative clinical pregnancy rate for self-cycle blastocyst transfers with laser hatching is 78.4%. When combined with PGT-A chromosomal euploid selection, single embryo transfer success rates reach up to 86.2%. Success varies based on age, AMH, and previous medical history.
Do you offer 0% EMI financing options for IVF packages?
Yes. We offer zero-interest flexible 3-month and 6-month EMI plans in partnership with leading healthcare financing institutions to eliminate financial friction for hopeful couples.
